• Medical Assistant Certification and professional Medical Interpreter in Sacramento, California.

2003. I taught Spanish K-8th grade at The California Montessori Project in Carmichael CA as well as tutoring privately.
2004-Now. I created and continue to develop the curriculum for The Spanish Immersion Program in Sacramento, CA and continue growing to Midtown, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Roseville and surround areas. I welcome the opportunity each student brings to The Spanish Immersion Program- The opportunity to incorporate my teaching skills and enthusiasm in creating a successful learning experience for the students, where learning Spanish is fun! Oscar Galvan

Hello my name is Oscar and I am from Mexico. I came to the United States three years ago after living in Mexico for 25 years. I completed all my education in Mexico from kindergarten to college. I graduated from a private university in Mexico with my bachelor’s degree in Communication. I am currently a Physical Education Teacher in Sacramento at YPSA Academy. I am also finishing my teaching credential to teach Spanish at a high school level.  A fun fact about me is I love to play tennis & soccer.

I am a passionate to teach every scholar a proper way to speak a beautiful language. In my classes, you are going to learn the Spanish language in a natural, authentic way while participating in intense verbal interaction.

My goal is to offer an outstanding curriculum to reach every need, and to create an atmosphere in which you will experience the joy of learning while developing a proficiency in Spanish.

Elsa Frederickson

My name is Elsa and Spanish is my native language. I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to Sacramento 4 years ago. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a private University in Mexico. I am currently attending the American River College majoring in Early Childhood Education. I've been working with Blanca for the last 3 years and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else. By working for The Spanish Immersion Program I discovered two of my passions: teaching Spanish and working with children. I enjoy teaching them my native language and in this way I help them to enrich and enhance their mental development. At the same time I learn a lot from them. They teach me patience, virtue, peace, the value of time and friendship and most important, they have the ability to make me laugh everyday. I love what I do and my goal is to help children and adults with the adventure of learning a second language.
